"Contemporary Oriental Picasso" + "Super Girl Creative Artists Four"
Created by Taiwanese artist Lee Sun-Don, who was praised by the Western media as "Contemporary Oriental Picasso", and "Super Girl Creative Artists Four" MaSingLingLuna, the latest "Clear Mirror‧Image" series has been on display in GP DEVA FRONTIER ART‧X-Power Gallery - Shanghai starting from July 17. The contemporary avant-garde mirror style was stunning to all guests participating the VIP night in Shanghai!
The "Clear Mirror‧Image" series of works, using stainless steel 800# mirror surface as the canvas, allows special 3D resin and acrylic paint to flow on the mirror surface, to present abstract and imagery pictures. The stainless steel mirror naturally reflects the viewer himself, the surrounding people, objects and things, and the flowing light, so that the same painting presents millions of interesting styles due to different people, objects and things.
The series "Clear Mirror‧Image" was created by Lee Sun-Don + artist MaSingLingLuna, a total of five artists. The series is based on the contemporary avant-garde mirror style and environmental protection concepts. When first exhibited at the Art Revolution Taipei in April 2019, it was favored by many collectors, including the International Angel Fund, among many more others.
Twin exhibition: in Gensler and GP DEVA FRONTIER ART‧X-Power Gallery
The internationally renowned series of works "Clear Mirror‧Image" was specially scheduled to hold a twin exhibition in Shanghai, at the Gensler Shanghai headquarters and the GP DEVA FRONTIER ART‧X-Power Gallery - Shanghai in the M50 Art District. In this location the series of “Necessary‧Bodhi” by Lee Sun-Don + MaSingLingLuna is also exhibited: Taking the concept of environmental protection as the appeal, the leaves of the sacred Bodhi tree were picked up, processed and used in the painting; the artist believes that “even if it is a fallen leaf, it can become a medium for artistic creation and give new meaning."
