Hailing from Barcelona, Spain, Didier Lourenço, aged 55, was born in Premià de Mar in 1968. At the age of 19, he into his father's lithographic printing studio. In 1988, he embarked on a journey of painting using canvases and paper within the corner of the studio.
With a skillful allocation of his time, he simultaneously devoted himself to painting and to creating lithographic prints for himself and fellow professional artists. The studio became his finest academy, laying the foundation for his personal artistic education. That year marked his inaugural solo exhibition, alongside the debut collection of lithographic prints he orchestrated.
In 1991, Lourenço won the Outstanding Young Artist Award, casting a radiant light that led him to various galleries across Spain, actively participating in a range of solo and group exhibitions.
In 1995, he had his personal studio, focusing on painting while continuously producing lithographic prints. In 2000, his works were championed globally by renowned international poster distributors, drawing the attention of numerous galleries and showcasing his original masterpieces.
